DeCONpression 6 - The central Ohio relaxacon in the dead of winter, IS BACK!DeCONpression brings you good food, good beverage, good fun - in a warm and inviting atmosphere that includes world class restaurant across the street, pool, and hot tub. The midnight swim will return for convention members only, on both Friday and Saturday night. The ghost of honor,Vincent Van Gogh, will be featured in events. We have a large venue, which is all our own - with a large Dealers Room, Movie Room, Gaming Room, and multiple programming rooms. There will be the same large Con Suite, with lots of food and drink, and there will be a Casual party, and lots of time for slack!DeCONpression 5 would like to thank
all staff, most notably Chris, who erred and showed himself capable
of organization and suffered a promotion because of it : ), Carrie, for taking
over and running registration admirably, Shell, for doing yeomans work on the
website, including getting Paypal up for us, the germs of Ohio, for staying away
from me this year, Cori and John for con security, and Barfleet for everything
they do as our Hospitality Staff, and very notably, Kristie Waltz, who showed
us how to dance, much to all our enjoyment!
We will have the pool and hot tub.. NOTE: DeCONpression 6 attendees will LOVE the pool area in our hotel this year, much larger, newly remodeled, with a nifty mural on the wall and a great area to relax. AttentionPlease note that membership will be limited to 300 members. We want to reduce the possibility that we will have to turn people away at the door So please keep this in mind and pre-register early. What's new?
